Bio

Matthew Dal Santo is a Church historian. Educated at the Universities of Cambridge and Sydney, he is a former Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge, and former Danish Research Council Fellow at the University of Copenhagen. He has held visiting fellowships at the Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C., and the Catholic University of America. He has also served as a foreign policy officer with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs. Originally trained as a medievalist and patrologist, he has shifted his focus to the problem of secularization in recent years. He is currently working on a theological reading of the Russian Revolution.
