Professor of Dogmatics / Chair of Dogmatics

BIO

Dr. Margaret Turek is Department Chair and Professor of Dogmatic Theology. Educated at the Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology (Berkeley, CA) and the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), she is a former professor of Theology at the University of Dallas. Before undertaking graduate studies in Theology, she received spiritual formation as a Carmelite for six years. Her teaching and writing interests include Trinitarian Theology, Theologies of the Cross, the re-integration of Dogmatic and Spiritual Theology, and evangelization through literature and film. She serves on the Editorial Board of Communio: International Catholic Review and the Advisory Board of The New Ressourcement Journal of Theology and Philosophy.
